Hello everyone,

Wow, what happened? It feels like yesterday that I was happy about fall arriving. And now we are heading into winter.  You know, I am really excited about Christmas coming this year.  Each Christmas brings its new looks and themes and I look forward to sharing the season with you!

There is something else I want to share with you. another special occasion coming up as well in December. Yup, you guessed it, my birthday. Usually I don't get too excited about my birthday but this is the big one the big 5-0.  I was going to let it slip by unannounced, hoping no one would notice, but the more I thought about it the more I thought we should throw a party! So we are.stay tuned to our e-newsletters for news about how and when I'll be celebrating!

What else is new? Our calendar of events for the upcoming season is ready, click on the events calendar or see the post-it note on this page. This year our calendar includes workshops on how to make a beautiful wreath, and how to create an arrangement for your foyer.  Be sure to sign up soon, as the classes fill up very quickly.

There's lots of new stuff in store for you gorgeous purses, colourful scarves, funky jewellry, and even a couple items straight from Oprah's list.  A lip balm in a cool ball container called, "Twist and Pout", and the "Salad Sac", a terrycloth bag to store your veggies and keep them fresh.

Another new addition to Vermeer's is our birding department. We are thrilled to be able to offer this new addition to you. Personally I love having birds in my backyard.watching them splash and bathe in my birdbath.  Now we are able to help you attract these colourful feathered friends to your backyard this winter!
