This year’s festival is sure to be a fun one for the whole family.
Friday is Fall Garden Day, and Saturday is Family Day!

– Spring Bulb Design
Let us help you envision the spring ahead – a spring full of
colourful tulips, sweet smelling hyacinth and tiny buds of crocus &
muscari. Featuring new and unique varieties of bulbs that will have
your spring garden popping! Learn tips and tricks to make it past a
winter of squirrels and into a fresh spring paradise.

Unique Bulbs & Autumn Crocus
For instant satisfaction when it comes to bulbs, you can’t beat
the Autumn crocus! Put them in the ground and poof – a week or two
later your garden is swimming with colour. Learn about crocus
sativus – the fall blooming crocus that saffron is harvested from,
as well as many other unique and new varieties.

Workshop
If your summer planters are getting tired – it’s time to bring
the colours of fall to your décor! Join Regina Davis for a fun
workshop, creating your fall planters with mums, grasses and fall

Europe, and now Vermeer’s is bringing it to you! Clean, modern and
artistic; perfect for home & office, this seminar will have you
wondering why you ever bothered with potting soil and weekly
watering. Dave DeVries of AquaAccents will walk you through a
beginners guide to hydroponics in this informative seminar.
Orchid & Bonsai Show - Saturday October 2nd
Join Vermeer’s and the Niagara Bonsai Society for a day of beauty
and information. Peak your curiosity- the delicate beauty of
hundreds of orchids and fantastic specimens of the oldest and most
creative bonsai in the region.

Repotting – Interactive Seminar
It's the perfect time of year to examine your roots! Bring in
your orchid and follow along as our experts teach you the art of
repotting! Repot your first orchid compliments of Vermeer's, for
your second or more a small orchid bark fee will apply.

History of Orchid Collection
What makes orchid collection so special? Join Ted Kretz as he
delves
into the history behind collecting and cataloguing these beautiful
specimens. This seminar will feature authentic orchid lithographs
from
the early days of orchid collection.
